Modern English was the New Wave band famous for their hit song, "I Melt With You."
History
It were originally the punk b& called a Lepers and became Modern English within 1979. A b& consisted of Robbie Grey (vocals & guitar), Gary McDowell (guitar), Richard Red (drums), Mick Conroy (bass), and Stephen Walker (keyboards.) In the 1980's they released their best known song "I Melt With You" which, in the late 1990's would be used in a Burger King commercial. It officially disbanded inside 1991, however when profits by owning their song existence utilized around the Burger King commercial message, it use at times since no more back to the studio in 2001.

Recently, the song I personally Melt By having Professional people has been featured around a commercial message for Ritz crackers. A band has too been voted 1 of a top 25 one-hit wonders for their song "I Melt With You."
